Eural offers an extensive range of shapes: round, square, hexagonal and flat, designed to ensure high machinability, structural uniformity and excellent mechanical performance.
But when is it preferable to choose an extruded bar and when is it better to opt for a drawn bar? Extruded bars are ideal for large diameters, over 80 mm. Drawn bars are generally used for smaller diameters, where tighter dimensional tolerances and higher straightness are required. The latter, previously pickled for a clean, flawless finish, are cold drawn to ensure superior performance in terms of tensile strength and hardness.
