Porthole extrusion is the detail that really makes the difference in the performance of aluminium profiles. This technology, chosen by Eural, represents an advanced production solution, guaranteeing high dimensional precision, excellent surface quality and maximum production reliability, even in the case of complex geometries.

Unlike seamless extrusion, where the floating needle can be subject to micro-displacements that affect tolerances, the porthole process maintains uniformity and repeatability. These are fundamental advantages in applications where tight tolerances and consistent performance are required, such as in the hydraulic, automotive and pneumatic actuator sectors.

Pneumatics

In the pneumatic sector, manufacturing reliable, high-performance cylinders means being able to rely on aluminium profiles designed with extreme care, down to the smallest detail. The design of the die, developed in-house by specialised and highly experienced personnel, allows for optimised geometries and precise tolerances.

This is accompanied by a highly refined extrusion process, followed by honing the internal diameter of the profile, which further improves its dimensional accuracy and surface quality. Subsequent semi-hard internal and external anodic oxidation and on gives the profile superior protection and excellent wear resistance, ideal for industrial environments.

All profiles intended for pneumatic applications undergo thorough dimensional, roughness, mechanical and chemical composition checks to ensure maximum uniformity and consistent performance.
