Porthole extrusion is the detail that really makes the difference in the performance of aluminium profiles. This technology, chosen by Eural, represents an advanced production solution, guaranteeing high dimensional precision, excellent surface quality and maximum production reliability, even in the case of complex geometries.

Unlike seamless extrusion, where the floating needle can be subject to micro-displacements that affect tolerances, the porthole process maintains uniformity and repeatability. These are fundamental advantages in applications where tight tolerances and consistent performance are required, such as in the hydraulic, automotive and pneumatic actuator sectors.

Hydraulics

In the hydraulics sector, reliability, precision and mechanical resistance are essential elements to ensure the correct functioning of complex systems subject to high pressures and continuous stress. It is in this context that Eural Gnutti stands out for its aluminium profiles, specifically designed for the production of hydraulic gear pumps and bushing blocks, key components in hydraulic circuits.

These profiles, supplied by Eural in T5 or T6 condition, i.e. cooled immediately after extrusion and artificially aged according to parameters that have been extensively tested over time, guarantee ideal mechanical values for critical applications.

In addition to the 7XXX family of alloys, Eural also offers solid profiles in 6026LF, appreciated for its high mechanical properties, its excellent machinability and surface finish quality, in combination with the porthole extrusion process.
