SUSTAINABILITY
Sustainability is an integral part of Eural Gnutti's DNA, which has always been at the forefront of transforming environmental challenges into real opportunities for growth. Since its inception, the company has adopted a production model focused on aluminium, a lightweight, versatile and infinitely recyclable material. Today, this vision also translates into a concrete commitment to reducing CO2 emissions and the environmental impact of its plants through low-energy consumption processes, the use of advanced technologies and circular resource management.
Sustainability thus becomes a real driver of growth and a competitive lever, capable of generating value for the entire industrial ecosystem. The path taken by Eural is based on measurable, long-term actions: from the installation of over 10,000 photovoltaic panels to the choice of electric and natural gas furnaces to improve energy efficiency, to support for local communities and corporate welfare programmes. This approach is further confirmed by the ASI (Aluminium Stewardship Initiative) certification, which attests to the compliance of the Pontevico and Rovato plants with the highest international standards for responsible aluminium production.
ALUMINIUM AS A STRATEGIC MATERIAL FOR DECARBONISATION
In the context of the European Green Deal, aluminium is recognised as a strategic material for the transition to a circular, low-emission economy. Lightweight and 100% recyclable, it contributes to decarbonisation thanks to the reduced energy impact of its recycling and its increasingly widespread use in various industrial sectors.
It is also a winning choice in terms of energy: reusing aluminium requires only 5% of the energy needed to produce it from scratch, and its use produces 7 times less CO2 emissions than primary aluminium.

ESG
Eural Gnutti's commitment to sustainability translates into a clear and structured ESG path. In 2023, Eural took a significant step forward by publishing its first Sustainability Report, drawn up in accordance with GRI standards: a document that outlines concrete results and future objectives, confirming the company's desire to create lasting value for the environment, people and the local area.
